The other day I took my son to football camp at the University of Utah.
At the end, a kid (probably about 9-years-old) asked me to autograph his shirt… you see, he thought I was a college football player (I was also wearing a Utes shirt, not surprising if you know me). I have decided to take this as a compliment… I am 35 after all.
However, on the other hand, I am a little offended as a Utes fan. Their athletes should not be confused for a 35-year-old. Even if this individual looks younger, is in good shape, and has amazing muscles and abs.
I told the kid I would love to sign his shirt, but that I wasn’t a player. He lost interest.
