ImageI was looking at a picture of a baby elephant with it mother (See above. I know, I know…totally bad ass, I am not trying to brag, but tell a little story that happened in my brain).

This picture got me thinking:

“Are all other baby animals born with the ability to walk? Are humans the only animals completely dependent on a parent in order to get around? If so, why? Do our brains spend more time developing? Do chimps crawl?”

And this went on…or more accurately, is still going on.

So, I decided to get my 11-year-old son’s (Logan) opinion on this perplexing question.

Me: Logan, do you all animals are born with the ability to walk?

Logan: Not fish.
